NEW ALBANY SCHOOLS | New Albany has around 3500 students and consists of 1 K-1, 1 2-5, 1 middle and 1 high school. Nationally recognized New Albany High School is a four-year comprehensive high school accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges. PARKS & RECREATION | The New Albany parks district was formed in 1999 by the New Albany-Plain Local School District, the Village of New Albany and Plain Township to develop and manage park land within the school district´s boundaries. They manage and coordinate many youth athletic activities including: sport camps, baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer and softball as well as adult soccer and softball. They also manage several parks in the area with a variety of ammenities including, jogging trails, athletic fields, tennis complex, playgrounds and more.
