Agent typically love being dual agents because they can earn the entire commission. But how does this impact you, the seller? At Revealty we never allow our agents to represent the buyer and seller at the same time. When you work with a Revealty agent you can guarantee that we will always be on your side. WHAT THEY AREN'T TELLING YOU; Real estate is the only profession that allows agents to represent two opposing parties in a transaction. Even lawyers won't do this. If you're agent is representing the buyer and you at the same time here is a short list of what they can't do for you: · They can't negotiate the lowest price for you. · They can't negotiate the best terms for you. · They can't use their experience and knowledge to protect you. · They can't tell you what to counter offer. · They can't negotiate home repairs for you. · They can't tell you anything that would give you an edge. At Revealty we believe sellers want all of these services and this is whay they are paying for. We can guarantee you will always receive these when working with Revealty because we never ever represent a buyer and seller in the same transaction at the same time. When interviewing an agent ask them about how they handle this situation, which is called dual agency. Make sure you fully understand how this will impact you and remember it doesn't have to be this way.
